TRACKLISTING

A Efdemin - America
B Efdemin - The Pulse

INFO
We're very proud to announce the highly anticipated first release from Efdemin since his self-titled debut album last year on Dial, that - together with the 'Acid Bells' single on Curle - received very high critical acclaim from around the globe. After extensive touring worldwide, some remixes for Sian, Sascha Funke and Grimes Adhesif and a track on this year's Cocoon box, these two tracks are his first solo productions again. 'The Pulse' is a future dancefloor burner, whereas 'America' is more melodic in the familiar Dial spirit. That one is also to be heard on the forthcoming mix-cd by Efdemin "Carry On, Pretend We're Not In The Room" (CURLE016CD).

Efdemin-America/The Pulse
Wer politische Vergleiche ziehen will: bitte. (cdb)

DJ Mag:
Efdemin - America (Curle)
Penned especially for his recent mix, 'America' features most of Philip Sollmann's signatures - the brittle, fragile rhythms, the subtle, dream-like melodies and the use of mysterious, ponderous vocals. This time, it's a woman intoning the track title over and over again. While the recent US election would make you think that 'America' might be more upbeat than releases like 'Just a Track', it's driven by the same melancholic sensibility. (4 stars)
